ABOUT JIM
Jim is a professionally trained business coach who brings his passion for helping people to the independent business owner. As an accredited Associate of the Institute for Independent Business, he holds to the high standards of the IIB's Code of Ethics in his relationship with clients, a code based on standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Jim's focus is on Operations in Business. During his 35-year professional career, he held executive- level positions (Senior Vice President, Managing Principal/Partner, Owner, and member of the Board of Directors) with national and international firms specializing in architectural/engineering design,program management, and construction management, and with major hospital and healthcare systems. |

During his professional career, Jim served more than 250 clients throughout the U.S. and in Europe, the Middle East and Central America. A record of high client satisfaction and loyalty resulted in a 95% repeat business rate.
Jim earned his Bachelor of Industrial Engineering and Master of Engineering degrees from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, USA. He is a Registered Professional Engineer by examination in the State of Florida.
Early in his career, he was an Associate Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, USA, teaching undergraduate courses on industrial engineering as it relates to improvements in health care processes.
Jim's commitment to education continued through volunteering as a guest lecturer at the University of Florida. He has spoken to undergraduate students on the value and opportunities in industrial engineering, and in November 2012 was guest lecturer in the Sales Engineering Seminar of the Sales Engineering Program, a curriculum of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at UF.
ABOUT CAROLE
Carole's focus is on Marketing in Business. During her 25-year career centered on marketing professional services, Carole held business development and managerial positions (Marketing Director, Marketing Manager, co-chair of a Board-level Practice Development Committee, Marketing/Communications Group head) with student exchange programs, architecture/engineering/construction program management firms, and a major business law firm.
The focus of her marketing experience has been to establish, manage and/or take the firm's marketing program to a higher level, position and present the company to retain current clients, expand existing markets, and enter new markets.
Carole heads our marketing/communications support service, "My Mark/Com", a resource for those business owners who don't have the staff or time to carry out marketing activities. |

Carole earned her Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations from The American University School of International Service in Washington, D.C.
