How Can Business Coaching Help Me?

 

As a business owner, you by necessity wear many hats -- chief executive officer, financial officer, human resources administrator, marketing director, operations manager, and more. Typically, the initial vision of the owner is to provide quality services or products, while minimizing commitment of time to the "business" side of his or her firm.  And, it can be lonely at the top when you're the sole owner without an advsory board of directors to brainstorm your deas with.

 

That's where we help.  Our role is to help you work ON your business, not just IN it. We work with you on the "business" side of your business -- operations, marketing, administration, management, and other issues -- so you can focus on the core reason you started your business.

 

Business coaching is about transformation -- tackling your business challenges and finding their solutions, or taking your successful business to its next level of opportunity.

 

Our Business Support Program provides the structure, actions, and practical solutions and strategies to help you achieve what you want for your business --

  • Improve and make changes to spark your business
  • Articulate your vision and mission for your business -- the foundation for all your business decisions and actions, and defining message to your potential clients and staff
  • Set specific measurable goals to meet that vision and mission
  • Identify practical solutions and eliminate obstacles to your progress
  • Help you see opportunities that the pressures of the day-to-day routine may have obscured
  • Develop a logical Action Work Plan to meet your goals
  • Add fresh, objective perspective to your business to help you see things you may not have seen and consider new options
  • Help you write those all-important plans -- business plan, marketing plan, operations and procedures manuals, and the like
  • Keep you focused and accountable to yourself
  • Bring real-world experience and expertise in each area of your business
  • Keep you "big picture" oriented -- ensuring that each decision you make is considered in light of its effect on the other aspects of your business
  • Serve as a sounding board for your ideas, concerns, plans, and a catalyst for change.

Importantly, there are several things we don't do.  We do not make your decisions for you, and we don't push you in any specific direction.  You know what you want for your business.  We facilitate -- not dictate or impose.  All decisions remain in your hands, you stay in control.

What is Your Role?

 

Simply, you must be open to coaching and new ideas!  A positive reflection of you, this means:

  • You acknowledge issues exist in your business that must be addressed.
  • You are willing to work at those issues.
  • You are ready and willing to change.
  • You will evaluate your options and make the decisions needed.
  • You are committed to implementing the decisions you make.
  • You are flexible to shifting course as needed to respond to changing conditions.

Coaching is a partnership and investment by both you and your coach.  We must work together as a team with mutual trust, confidence and respect.

Our Coaching Approach

 

Our approach is straightforward:  We brainstorm with you, listen, ask probing questions, challenge, encourage, advise, and give feedback, all toward the goal of attaining your vision for your business.

 

We work with you one-on-one, in person.  We do not coach by phone, email or on-line only.  We believe that good, lasting results can best be achieved by the individualized, personal interaction and synergy of ideas created by working together in person.

 

Solutions Modules

 

We help with your practical projects as well.  For certain specific business needs, such as a Business Plan or Marketing Plan, our Solutions Modules provide a structured approach to many of the areas in which the business owner seeks solutions.  To see if this approach would benefit you, read about the Solutions Modules currently available in 9 key areas of business.

In sum, as your coach/advisor, we are in it with you for the long haul

We help you determine what needs to be done and actions to accomplish it,
